One thing I noticed about your team AT Auburn Sports and Marine, I havent noted or heard anywhere else from the other fishing /sport shops..You guys go out of your way and respond back quickly on everything, always have answers and ask if they have helped you with everything you need...
From when your Pres, Dave called to let me know about the work I was having done on the engines and when it was completed, to Darren calling back and responding to all my many questions ( too many to list ) and also giving me so many suggestions , to Todd getting back to me on clamming and fishing information and taking the time to teach me, to Eric giving me suggs and information on the engine and how to break it in..
The other thing I want to mention is, typically you can tell when the person you are talking to or asking questions to, show impatiece or frustration on responding to rookie fisherman/ boaters.. One can only imagine the thousands of questions they get asked as there are so many of us "rookies" out there that dont know much about boating or fishing but are dying to learn from someone who has the knowledge.. All you guys seem to have a genuine interest in what the customer is asking. Man, I love that. The best way to summarize it in anology form, is the same as a Home Depot vs Lowes.
HD has experienced, friendly sales people that seem to take pride in what they do..and Lowes sales people are typically very young, inexperienced and dont offer a lot of suggestions to help you complete your project.
Simply put, You guys are PASSIONATE about what fishing and boationg is all about, and you share the enthusiasm with the customer. In our industry, we always use the phrase ETDBW ( easy to do business with ) and in my book, Auburn Sports and Marine is EZTDBW.
